Adult Ball Coaches & Players
 

FOR COACHES:
To become an Adult ball coach, you must do the following by August 7:

  Sign up as an adult ball coach (initial password is your last name in lowercase letters).

  Pick up registration forms for your players (625-6327). They are available at the park and copies are maintained at the water slide too.

  Solicit players to register online and select you as the coach.

  You will form your team with no more than 9 players in baseball and 10 players in softball. The rest are chosen randomly.

  As a player registers, he/she will select a coach from the list of coaches wishing to play adult ball. You will have to log in to your account to allow or disallow a player on your team before they are officially added to your team.

  Once you have your players are registered collect the $35 fee from the players (no discount for siblings).

  Turn in the money to Larry Beyl or Mike Webb... and your team is formed. Coaches must submit a receipt with all cash that was collected. NOTE: You can call 625-6327 to contact Larry should there be questions.

  As the season starts (August 10 for practice, August 21), you may be assigned additional players who have not yet been
assigned a team. No more than 12 players will be forced on any coach for a team. You should have your team formed no later no later than the first week in August.  NOTE: Spring players will be given precedence over new players that did not play at the Sportsplex.


 

FOR PLAYERS:
To play for a adult ball coach, you must do the following:

  Register for adult ball online (you can call up your spring registration to save time if you know the child's name, phone, and date-of-birth), or sign in new, or ask your coach for a form (not the preferred method). When signing up, make sure you click on the "clinics" that you may also be of interest.

  Call a coach (check the coach list for phone info) and make sure it is ok to play on his/her team. If you do not know any coaches then simply put "please assign me" in the coach menu.

  Your official age will be the same age you will have in spring ball signups in 2010.

  Wait for the coach to accept your registration. He/she should call you to let you know.

  Pay your $35 fee to the coach or pay online and we will notify your coach that the fee was paid. Each coach handles his/her team's fees and registration until submitted to the park. Please make sure you get a receipt if you paid in cash.
